I began my day early, entering the empty breakfast room at 7 am. As in the previous morning, they promptly asked for my room number. Unlike before, I decided not to bring my laptop this time. The lady managing operations had expressed extreme discomfort the day before, throwing her hands upon her head and pointing at my laptop after my plates were cleared. This incident had made me self-conscious. Hence, this morning, I confidently walked into the breakfast room with my handheld device.
Subsequently, I headed towards one of the small conference rooms down my hall. Navigating the space felt akin to operating a GUI system for a movie theater, but I managed to turn on the lights and began preparing notes for today's lectures on higher order ODEs, variable coefficient ODEs, and Partial Derivatives. Fast forward to 10 am, and our lecture commenced. Below, you can observe us working through some example problems.
After working on some math we were left some time to grab lunch. My buddy Oliver and I quickly vacated to the macaroon shop conveniently located right across the street from the hotel for some sandwiches. Other students rushed to get some ice spaghetti.
Our tour guid led us through the longest pedestrian road in Germany. Then onto a gondola up to a castle pictured below.
The castle was gorgeous but also very large which made it difficult to cover the ground needed for the tour. Especially since we had already walked about 30 minutes from the hotel. After walking so much I began to feel hungry, but just then we were met with a ginormous room with 500 fully plated seats. To my dismay, this display was not for us but for a concert they were holding later that evening.
To finish off the day our tour guide brought us to a church next-door to the castle. It was beautifully set with large candle lit Christmas tree at the very center.
